Friday afternoon. 2 exams for tomorrow. Stat, 8-11 am. Math, 1-330. Or is it 130? whatever. Anyway, this is one stupid incoming weekend. Other than the exams specified above, i have an exam on tuesday in polsci. Have to read around 3 chapters of heywood. and then there's the eng 10 concept paper. approximately 3-5 pages of double-spaced crap. haha. and for that, i have to read around 100 pages of sovereignty and 3 chapters of that other book. and then write about it. oh and my monday afternoon's being taken up by pe. so my only time to cram eng and polsci is sunday and monday morning. plus monday evening. maybe i'll read the sovereignty tomorrow night. then write the paper on sunday and monday morning. then monday night, cram heywood. oh and did i mention i'm reading 122 while playing my cobra starship playlist? yeah, that. haha. and then tomorrow after 122, gna read math. or cram it. whatever.

Stupid Eng10 position paper. Was given only yesterday, deadline is tomorrow. Nevermind that it should be at most 2 pages, the topic itself is incredibly difficult. I mean, how can you research about Quezon hall and how it is inspired by something in the US called Cranbrook Academy of Art? Somehow, I managed to put together 6 sources, with only 4 of them coming from the internet (and one of the other 2? single paragraph from an encyclopedia. hahaha.) Even put in some parentheticals, just to make it more convincing. Not one of my best works, but I'm still proud how i managed to do that given limited time, resources and energy-to-combat-laziness. hahaha.

Anyway, it's really amazing how UP and Cranbrook are so much alike. I mean, both have sunken gardens. well not sure about Cranbrook but i found a pic of a rabbit with an announcement saying,

"Wanted for crimes against plant material. Last known address Cranbrook's Sunken Garden. Aliases include: Peter, Fluffy, Flopsy and the dreaded uncle Wiggily. MO: They wear cute, cuddly outfits, travel in packs and eat everything in sight. Considered armed with appetite and dangerous! Do your part to stop these nibblers by closing this gate"

hahaha. Anyhow, back to my comparisons. Both main buildings are "situated at the end of a long avenue" (copied from MY work) Which brings me to my title. MapQuest, for those of you who haven't heard of it before, is an internet site that provides maps (DUH). well, not just maps but mostly maps. (ok that was somewhat stupid) anyway, i've only used MapQuest for finding out how to get to shopping malls and other shopping areas when i'm in the US. Until today. haha. finally found an academic shiz for it. With the use of MapQuest (and my internet powers), i found out that the Cranbrook is located at the end of Tamarack Way, while UP is at the end of University Avenue (okay, didn't need to use MapQuest for that, not to mention MapQuest only works for US roads). So i added that additional tidbit to my paper, to make it even more convincing. Riiiight? I mean, it was obvious that i made my "research". hahaha.

how appropriate that Almost Easy is playing on my itunes right now. hahaha.

Why is it that movies become boring when you're watching it for academic purposes aka school? I must have paused Slumdog Millionaire maybe 10 times already, for various reasons or for no reason at all, and yet I'm still 3/4 done. Damn. And then i have to write a stupid paper, which by the way, i already have an ending but a sucky introduction and a non-existent body. Not to mention the works cited list. which is also non-existent. 10:00 am already and i have to pass this tomorrow. good luck to me.

Finished stat 125 exam earlier. Kinda felt weird about that. I think the stat computer lab hates me. I mean, i think i've only taken 2 (computerized) exams there. Both times, the computer restarts while I, being the stupid idiot, wasn't saving my work. Hell, just a while ago, I had to restart it twice because it hanged twice. Good thing the exam was only about the output and not the program, else i'd be completely (well, maybe not that complete) screwed out of my life. Anyway, even with that handicap, I still managed to be the first to complete the test (approximately 30 minutes before the majority of the class). And that was even me forgetting the code for importing excel files onto sas, so i had to do some magic, some mumbo-jumbo and almost any other shit that i can think of. hahaha. Still, it felt weird cuz all 4 hypothesis testing questions ended up with me rejecting the null hypothesis. I mean, what the hell, when does the probability of <.0001 exist? That would freak almost anyone out, right? still, after comparing with my classmates, turns out that they rejected the null hypothesis too. Which kinda relieved me. Kinda being the operative word. hahaha.

Anyway, after that i cancelled my dentist's appointment cuz im too lazy. haha. too lazy to go mrt then lrt then walk. and then all the way back after the fixing-braces-stuff. plus im low on cash, so im gna have to go there next week nalang. fine by me. so i just spent the day watching slumdog millionaire (have to do a review on that, due on tuesday) and punisher warzone (that, i don't have to write anything about.) and speaking of the review paper, i still haven't started on it. hell, i dnt even know where to start. or even how to start, for that matter. still, im gna have to start tomorrow. hope i can do that. and i hope my lazy doesn't take over. Go creative side of me( if it exists)! hahaha. anyway, good night everyone!

Just edited my layout yesterday. Now for a test-run to see if everything is still working like I used to know. So far, looking good.

I miss using LJ while in class. Was sorely tempted earlier during Stat 125, but can't connect to the net. stupid upd proxy, which somehow i can't get right. so no net during class. had to stick with doing my reaction paper for anthro10 on my laptop while in different class.

Hmmm... The mood should include sabaw (pronounced say-bow) and sabog (pronounced say-boog). Hahaha. Well, I think crazy would suffice.

Perio is over. The Last Perio of the Year is OVER!!!

This should be a cause for celebration, but hell no.

Numero uno: STR mini-research write-up was supposed to be due earlier today, but "due to insistent popular demand," it got posrponed to tomorrow. Poor me, who slept late last night finishing STR.

Numero dos: Filipino. Monologue's supposed to be due tomorrow, but i passed it last week, so no problem there. But the perio is due next week. And i'm just starting. And the short film we were supposed to do is reeeeeally behind schedule.

Numero tres: no idea. just wanted to put something here. i know that others have more, shall i say, cramped and tiring schedules, but i just got really pissed off at the extension of the STR thing. I mean, a lot of groups passed today. Why the hell should it be extended? And what the fart is "'popular' demand"? A few people begging isn't popular demand. So why extend the deadline?

Can't they think about those who slept late, worked hard and managed to pass on the original deadline? Can't they imagine the effort taken?

Today. March , 2006. Now at 36 days. Bored. Perio week's coming up.Should be studying. Not studying but studied na. Currently resting from the mind drain i've been experiencing. Sleepy. One busy day.

Started with waking up late. Ate bfast. Then went to mcdo. Drank coke float. Went to batayog of the heroes (Bantayog ng mga Bayani.) Saw some old pics from martial law. Listened to lectures from martial law victims. Wasn't quite disturbed by them, though i should be. Weird me.

Then went to pisay. Filmed for fil short film. I play this unknown guy, Carlo San Pedro, who kills some guy named Alex, who had a gf named Trina who was the crush of a frat leader named Tony. And Alex's best friend is named Gerry, who is a closet gay and has a crush on Alex (wonder where Gerry's name came from). Anyway, we were filming two scenes where i was in the background stalking Alex, (played by Juan Gabriel Gamboa). One scene, he and Trina (played by Hasmin Lisa Corpuz) were behind the astb hall. The other scene, Alex and Gerry (played wonderfully by Christian Paolo Racadio) were in the front lob and Alex and Trina had a major fight. The cool thing about that scene was i was there the whole time but my face was behind the newspaper i was reading. the scene ended with me folding up the newspaper in a creepy and scary kind of way. And i didn't need to practice that part, it just came out naturally. maybe i was meant for brooding characters with dark and deep personas.

We tried filming in the boy's dorm annex, but Ryan caught a ghost somehere on tape and the rest of the class went screaming out of the building, leaving me alone inside. I knew they saw something, but i don't really care. It's just a damn ghost, who the hell cares. And then Lara just pulled me outside coz i had her bag. Evil me. Ghost, ghost, ghosts. It wasn't actually a ghost on tape but a white something which we assumed is a ghost. Should a simple "ghost" prevent the whole class from filming? No, but it did. Oh well...

And the sy's about to end. and im gonna miss rb. Best class i've ever had.

RB RULEZ
